Our brand name, "Satakchi," is inspired by the Sanskrit name "Shatakshi," a revered form of Goddess Durga, also known as Shakambhari Devi. She is celebrated for her boundless compassion, protective strength, and all-seeing vision.
Legend tells of a time when humanity suffered famine. The Goddess manifested with countless eyes—each a symbol of care and awareness—through which she nurtured the earth with food and greenery. While the name literally means "hundred eyes," the stories describe her with hundreds or even thousands of eyes, representing infinite perception and protection.
